Family fun has begun

Last week we ran our very first series of family workshops — and the gallery was filled with colour, laughter, and that lovely mix of concentration and chaos that only comes from creative kids (and their grown-ups).

Over the course of four different sessions, parents and children sat side by side, painting, gluing, drawing, and trying new techniques together. For some, it was their first time doing something arty in years. For others, it was a chance to reconnect with their creative side in a calm, welcoming space.

What made it special wasn’t just the projects or materials — it was the shared focus and the little moments: a child proudly showing their work to the group, a parent quietly enjoying having their hands full of paint instead of a phone, or that brilliant hush that sometimes falls when everyone’s deeply absorbed.

We knew we wanted to include family workshops in the heart of what we do — and this past week confirmed why. Creativity doesn’t just belong to kids, or adults — it’s something we can share. And when we do, something pretty lovely happens.

These sessions will be returning, and we’re already planning what comes next. Watch this space — and if you came along, thank you for helping us start something we hope will grow.
