Weave a fish: Kids Creative Workshop in Brighton

Dive into a colourful underwater world and learn the art of weaving as you create your own fish-themed masterpiece.

In this fun and creative workshop, children will use simple weaving techniques to make a bright and cheerful fish decoration. They’ll choose colourful yarns, ribbons and fibres before weaving them through a fish-shaped template to create patterns, textures and unique designs.

Along the way, children will experiment with colour combinations and decorative details, transforming a simple shape into a vibrant sea creature full of personality.

Each child will take home their completed woven fish artwork, ready to display in their bedroom, hang on a wall or give as a handmade gift.

This workshop is a great introduction to weaving and textile crafts, while helping to develop creativity, concentration and fine motor skills.

Suitable for ages 8+. All materials provided.

All workshops are beginner-friendly unless stated otherwise, and we provide all the materials you need. Adult sessions are for ages 16+, teen classes for ages 11–16, and family workshops for ages 7+ with an accompanying adult. Everything you create is yours to take home.
