Tiny Felt Friends in Tiny Boxes – Kids Workshop in Brighton

Create a tiny handmade friend and a cosy little home to keep it in! In this creative workshop, young makers (8+) will cut, stitch, and decorate small felt animals before placing them inside their own matchbox-style keepsake.

Experienced Pretty Neat tutors guide children through simple, beginner-friendly felt techniques while encouraging colour choices, character ideas, and storytelling. The session is calm, hands-on, and perfect for building confidence, creativity, and fine motor skills.

Each child leaves with a miniature felt animal tucked inside its decorated matchbox — a sweet keepsake to treasure.

All materials are included, along with drinks and snacks from the gallery.

Cancel up to 7 days in advance via the website for a full refund. We cannot offer refunds after that point, for missed sessions, or for arrivals more than 20 minutes late. If you have food preferences or accessibility needs, please tell us in advance so we can make your visit as smooth as possible.

All workshops are beginner-friendly unless stated otherwise, and we provide all the materials you need. Adult sessions are for ages 16+, teen classes for ages 11–16, and family workshops for ages 7+ with an accompanying adult. Everything you create is yours to take home.
