Paint Your Own Christmas Cards Workshop in Brighton
Create a collection of beautiful hand-painted Christmas cards in this relaxed and festive workshop at Pretty Neat Gallery & Studio in Brighton Marina.
Make Christmas Cards That Feel Personal
There is something special about receiving a card that someone has made by hand. During this creative workshop, you’ll explore simple painting techniques and use them to create your own collection of unique Christmas cards.
First, we’ll look at easy ways to build festive designs using colour, shape and simple brush marks. You don’t need to be confident at drawing or painting. Instead, we’ll show you how even a few carefully placed marks can create an effective design.
Explore Festive Painting Ideas
Choose from a range of Christmas and winter-inspired ideas. You might paint Christmas trees, baubles, stars, wreaths, winter foliage or snowy scenes. Alternatively, experiment with abstract patterns and contemporary designs.
As you work, you can try different colour combinations and painting techniques. Therefore, each card can have its own style while still forming part of a coordinated collection.
Add Your Own Finishing Touches
Once your painted designs are complete, you can add extra details to make them feel even more special. You might introduce metallic touches, fine lines, festive lettering or simple embellishments.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a collection of original Christmas cards ready to send to friends and family. You may even pick up ideas and techniques for making more at home.
