Monoprinting – Kids Creative Print Workshop in Brighton

Discover the fun of printmaking in this colourful hands-on workshop for young makers (8+)! Children will explore monoprinting techniques using rollers, textures, drawing tools, and layers of paint to create unique one-off prints.

Experienced Pretty Neat tutors guide the session step by step while encouraging experimentation, creativity, and playful mark-making. Young artists can build patterns, textures, characters, or abstract designs as they discover how different printing techniques create surprising results.

This relaxed beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for children who enjoy getting creative and trying something new.

Each child leaves with a collection of original monoprints to take home and display.

All materials are included, along with drinks and light snacks from the gallery.

If you have food preferences or accessibility needs, please tell us in advance so we can make your visit as smooth as possible.

All workshops are beginner-friendly unless stated otherwise, and we provide all the materials you need. Adult sessions are for ages 16+, teen classes for ages 11–16, and family workshops for ages 7+ with an accompanying adult. Everything you create is yours to take home.
