Lunchtime play in Brighton: Driftwood Boats

Create a charming miniature boat inspired by the coast using driftwood, fabric, string and other found materials.

In this relaxed 90-minute creative play session, you’ll transform simple natural materials into a decorative seaside-inspired boat. Using pieces of driftwood as the base, you’ll design sails, add details and personalise your creation with colours, textures and coastal touches.

This workshop is all about creativity and experimentation. Each boat will develop its own character, whether you prefer a rustic coastal look, a colourful beach-hut style, or something entirely unique.

Creative Play Sessions

Short on time but still want to get creative? Our 90-minute Creative Play sessions are designed for fun, relaxation, and trying something new.

Each session focuses on a different art or craft activity and is suitable for complete beginners. There’s no pressure to be artistic or learn lots of techniques — simply enjoy making something with your own hands and take home a finished creation at the end.

Perfect for a lunchtime treat, a catch-up with friends, or a little creative time just for you.

If you have food preferences or accessibility needs, please tell us in advance so we can make your visit as smooth as possible.

All workshops are beginner-friendly unless stated otherwise, and we provide all the materials you need. Adult sessions are for ages 16+, teen classes for ages 11–16, and family workshops for ages 7+ with an accompanying adult. Everything you create is yours to take home.
