Linocut Printing Festive Christmas Card Workshop
A creative Christmas workshop by the sea
Join us at Pretty Neat Gallery & Studio in Brighton Marina for a relaxing and festive lino printing workshop. You’ll learn how to design, carve, and print your own set of handmade Christmas cards using traditional printmaking techniques and modern materials. It’s a fun and mindful way to get creative before Christmas, whether you come on your own or with a friend.
Learn the art of lino printing – step by step
Firstly, your friendly instructor will help you plan your design and transfer it onto a soft-cut lino block. Next, you’ll learn safe carving techniques and discover how to apply ink evenly to create crisp, clean prints. Afterwards, you’ll experiment with colours and paper to add your own style and personality. By the end of the session, you’ll have a beautiful set of printed cards and your lino block to take home and reuse.
No experience needed – just bring your festive spirit
This workshop is perfect for beginners as well as anyone who wants to refresh their creative skills. All materials and tools are provided, including lino, carving tools, inks, papers, and plenty of festive inspiration.
