Introduction to Macramé Workshop in Brighton

Discover the relaxing craft of macramé in this friendly beginner workshop at Pretty Neat Gallery & Studio. Using simple knotting techniques, you’ll learn how to transform natural cords into beautiful decorative pieces.
You’ll be guided step by step through the essential macramé knots and techniques, learning how to build patterns and structure your design as you go. As you practise, you’ll create your own finished piece — such as a small wall hanging or keyring — that you can proudly display at home.
Macramé is a wonderfully mindful craft that combines creativity with rhythm and repetition, making it perfect for anyone looking to unwind while learning a new skill.
No previous experience is needed. This session is designed to be relaxed, supportive, and enjoyable for complete beginners.
