Felted Sunshine Flowers: Kids Creative Workshop in Brighton

Create colourful flowers using felt, thread and simple hand sewing techniques.

In this fun and creative workshop, children will design and make their own felt flowers inspired by sunshine, gardens and summer blooms. First, they’ll choose from a range of brightly coloured felt fabrics. Then they’ll cut, layer and stitch petals to create cheerful handmade flowers.

Children can follow examples or create their own unique designs. For example, they might make daisies, sunflowers or colourful fantasy blooms. As they work, they’ll learn simple sewing techniques and build confidence with each stitch.

Each child will take home a selection of handmade felt flowers. These can be displayed at home, given as gifts, attached to bags or used in future craft projects.

This workshop is a wonderful introduction to sewing and helps develop creativity, concentration and fine motor skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Suitable for ages 8+. All materials and equipment are provided.
