Embroidered Christmas Cards Workshop in Brighton

Slow down and enjoy some festive stitching while creating beautiful Christmas cards with a handmade difference.

In this workshop, you’ll combine card, thread and simple embroidery techniques to create a collection of stitched Christmas designs. First, we’ll show you how to prepare your card and transfer or create a design. Then you’ll learn how to stitch safely through paper and card without tearing it.

Choose from festive trees, stars, snowflakes, baubles and other seasonal designs. You can also experiment with thread colours, metallic details and simple embellishments.

Your finished cards can be as traditional, contemporary or colourful as you like. Most importantly, each one will be completely unique and ready to send to someone special.

You’ll learn how to:

• Prepare card for embroidery
• Stitch simple designs onto paper and card
• Combine different stitches and threads
• Finish your embroidery neatly for card making

All materials, tools and festive refreshments are included.

Cancel up to 7 days in advance via the website for a full refund. We cannot offer refunds after that point, for missed sessions, or for arrivals more than 20 minutes late. If you have food preferences or accessibility needs, please tell us in advance so we can make your visit as smooth as possible.

All workshops are beginner-friendly unless stated otherwise, and we provide all the materials you need. Adult sessions are for ages 16+, teen classes for ages 11–16, and family workshops for ages 7+ with an accompanying adult. Everything you create is yours to take home.
