Embossed Foil Christmas Decorations Workshop

Discover the beautiful art of embossed foil and create shimmering handmade decorations for Christmas.

During this workshop, you’ll use simple embossing techniques to create raised patterns and designs in metallic foil. You can work from our festive ideas or develop a design of your own.

Stars, trees, snowflakes, leaves and simple geometric patterns all work beautifully in foil. As you work, you’ll experiment with different tools and learn how varying the pressure creates lines, textures and raised areas.

Once you’ve completed your designs, you’ll turn your embossed pieces into Christmas decorations ready to hang at home. The finished foil catches the light beautifully, making these decorations particularly lovely on a Christmas tree.

You’ll learn how to:

• Transfer simple designs onto foil
• Create raised and recessed details
• Experiment with marks, lines and textures
• Finish your foil pieces as hanging decorations

All materials, tools and festive refreshments are included.

If you have food preferences or accessibility needs, please tell us in advance so we can make your visit as smooth as possible.

All workshops are beginner-friendly unless stated otherwise, and we provide all the materials you need. Adult sessions are for ages 16+, teen classes for ages 11–16, and family workshops for ages 7+ with an accompanying adult. Everything you create is yours to take home.
