Ebru Marbling Adventure: Kids Creative Workshop in Brighton

Create amazing patterns on water and watch them magically transfer onto paper!

In this fun and colourful workshop, children will discover the traditional art of Ebru marbling. Using floating paints and simple tools, they’ll create swirls, waves, flowers and colourful patterns before printing their designs onto paper.

Every print is different, making this a fantastic activity for children who love experimenting, exploring colour and trying something completely new.

We’ll explore:

• Creating colourful patterns on water
• Experimenting with movement and design
• Mixing and combining colours
• Transferring artwork onto paper
• Making a collection of unique marbled prints

Each child will take home a selection of marbled papers ready to frame, turn into cards, use in crafts or simply admire.

This workshop encourages creativity, experimentation and curiosity while introducing children to a fascinating traditional art form.

Suitable for ages 8+. All materials provided.

All workshops are beginner-friendly unless stated otherwise, and we provide all the materials you need. Adult sessions are for ages 16+, teen classes for ages 11–16, and family workshops for ages 7+ with an accompanying adult. Everything you create is yours to take home.
