Driftwood Christmas Village Workshop in Brighton

Create your own charming little Christmas village using pieces of natural driftwood, paint and festive details.

During this relaxed workshop, you’ll turn simple pieces of driftwood into a collection of characterful little houses. First, you’ll choose and arrange your pieces to create your village. Then you can add doors, windows, snowy rooftops, tiny trees and other details to bring it to life.

You might choose traditional reds and greens, soft Scandinavian-inspired colours or a simple winter palette. Alternatively, create something bright and quirky. Each piece of driftwood has its own shape and texture, so every finished village will look completely different.

Finally, you’ll arrange your houses together to create a handmade Christmas decoration that you can bring out year after year.

You’ll learn how to:

• Select and arrange driftwood to create miniature buildings
• Add painted doors, windows and architectural details
• Create simple festive and winter effects
• Bring individual pieces together into a finished village

All materials, tools and festive refreshments are included.

If you have food preferences or accessibility needs, please tell us in advance so we can make your visit as smooth as possible.

All workshops are beginner-friendly unless stated otherwise, and we provide all the materials you need. Adult sessions are for ages 16+, teen classes for ages 11–16, and family workshops for ages 7+ with an accompanying adult. Everything you create is yours to take home.
