Doodle a Bag or Pencil Case – Kids Workshop in Brighton

Turn a simple bag into a one-of-a-kind design! In this fun, hands-on session, young makers (8+) will customise a pencil case, gym bag or zip pouch using fabric pens and paint to create doodling, colour, and creative mark-making techniques.

Experienced Pretty Neat tutors guide children through design ideas while encouraging their own style and imagination. From bold patterns to playful characters, every bag becomes completely unique. Perfect for beginners, this relaxed workshop builds confidence and creativity through making.

Each child leaves with their personalised pencil case, gym bag or pouch — ready for school, clubs, or everyday adventures.

All materials are included, along with drinks and snacks from the gallery.

Cancel up to 7 days in advance via the website for a full refund. We cannot offer refunds after that point, for missed sessions, or for arrivals more than 20 minutes late. If you have food preferences or accessibility needs, please tell us in advance so we can make your visit as smooth as possible.

All workshops are beginner-friendly unless stated otherwise, and we provide all the materials you need. Adult sessions are for ages 16+, teen classes for ages 11–16, and family workshops for ages 7+ with an accompanying adult. Everything you create is yours to take home.
