Private Workshop: Decorative Foil Art
Discover the colourful world of decorative foil art in this relaxed and beginner-friendly Creative Play session.
Using embossing tools and specialist foil sheets, you’ll learn how to create raised designs inspired by traditional Mexican folk art. We’ll show you how to transfer or draw a design, create texture and detail through embossing, and explore different ways of adding colour to make your work really stand out.
You can choose to create decorative hanging ornaments, gift tags, card toppers, or small decorative panels to frame or use in future craft projects. Whether you prefer the striking look of embossed silver foil or the vibrant colours often seen in traditional Mexican tin art, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to make your piece your own.
This session is perfect for complete beginners and anyone who enjoys making something beautiful with simple materials. You’ll leave with your finished creations and an information sheet to help you continue exploring the technique at home.
