Lunchtime Play in Brighton: Painted Bookmarks

In this fun 90-minute creative play session, you’ll explore painting, collage and mixed media techniques to create a set of unique handmade bookmarks. Layer colour, patterns, papers, text, stamps and decorative elements to design bookmarks that reflect your own style and interests.

Whether you love bright colours, nature-inspired designs, abstract patterns or vintage-inspired collage, you’ll have the freedom to experiment and play with a range of materials.

Creative Play Sessions

Short on time but still want to get creative? Our 90-minute Creative Play sessions are designed for fun, relaxation, and trying something new.

Each session focuses on a different art or craft activity and is suitable for complete beginners. There’s no pressure to be artistic or learn lots of techniques — simply enjoy making something with your own hands and take home a finished creation at the end.

Perfect for a lunchtime treat, a catch-up with friends, or a little creative time just for you.

Cancel up to 7 days in advance via the website for a full refund. We cannot offer refunds after that point, for missed sessions, or for arrivals more than 20 minutes late. If you have food preferences or accessibility needs, please tell us in advance so we can make your visit as smooth as possible.

All workshops are beginner-friendly unless stated otherwise, and we provide all the materials you need. Adult sessions are for ages 16+, teen classes for ages 11–16, and family workshops for ages 7+ with an accompanying adult. Everything you create is yours to take home.
