Create Felt Decorations – Kids’ Christmas Workshop

Get creative for Christmas and make a colourful collection of festive felt decorations to take home and hang on the tree.

Choose Your Christmas Characters

During this fun Christmas craft workshop, children will use colourful felt to create their own festive decorations. They could make Christmas trees, stars, snowmen, gingerbread people, robins, puddings or other seasonal characters.

We’ll have plenty of ideas and templates available for inspiration. However, children can also come up with designs of their own.

Cut, Decorate and Create

First, we’ll choose our shapes and colours. Then we’ll cut and layer the felt before adding all the little details that give each decoration its personality. Children can use buttons, ribbons, trims, pom-poms and other craft materials to decorate their creations. Finally, we’ll add ribbons or loops so the finished decorations are ready to hang on the Christmas tree.

This workshop is suitable for children aged 8+, and no previous sewing or crafting experience is needed.

All materials and festive refreshments are included.

If you have food preferences or accessibility needs, please tell us in advance so we can make your visit as smooth as possible.

All workshops are beginner-friendly unless stated otherwise, and we provide all the materials you need. Adult sessions are for ages 16+, teen classes for ages 11–16, and family workshops for ages 7+ with an accompanying adult. Everything you create is yours to take home.
