Button Buddies – Kids Creative Workshop in Brighton

Create your own colourful button character using buttons, wooden beads, cord and plenty of imagination!

In this fun hands-on workshop, children (8+) will design and make a unique button person to take home. Using a simple wooden bead head and a selection of brightly coloured buttons, they’ll build a character complete with arms, legs, clothing and accessories.

Each child will leave with their own handmade button person and the skills to create more characters at home using everyday materials.

This workshop encourages creativity, imagination and problem-solving while introducing children to simple making techniques in a fun and relaxed environment.

Cancel up to 7 days in advance via the website for a full refund. We cannot offer refunds after that point, for missed sessions, or for arrivals more than 20 minutes late. If you have food preferences or accessibility needs, please tell us in advance so we can make your visit as smooth as possible.

All workshops are beginner-friendly unless stated otherwise, and we provide all the materials you need. Adult sessions are for ages 16+, teen classes for ages 11–16, and family workshops for ages 7+ with an accompanying adult. Everything you create is yours to take home.
