Pretty Neat began with a simple idea: that everyone deserves access to creativity, whether you’re here to discover local artists, try your hand at something new, or just enjoy a bit of mindful making.
Our founder, Paula, is an artist and maker who’s used creativity as a form of therapy for many years — and wanted to build a space that encourages experimentation, expression, and joy in the process.

Our studio sits in a bright and airy corner of Brighton Marina Village, just steps away from the sea. Whether you’re browsing original pieces by talented local makers, or sitting down at a table covered in colourful supplies, you’ll find a space designed to inspire.
We run a wide range of workshops for adults and children, from mindful Zentangle to textile art, printmaking, mixed media, and more — with creative pathways to keep you learning and growing.
